In A Perfect World. Love and Peace would Reign as King

Love and Peace in a Perfect world.(Dream!)
In a perfect world I´d take your hand
we´d walk together down to the sand,
You´d smile at me as we walk to the sea
and watch the children playing .... free!
Happy, running , laughing, splashing
one another in the sea.
All safe.
In a perfect world.
In a perfect world, we all are fed,
the starving don´t exsist ..
Childrens´tummies satisfied as they a tucked into bed.
Unlike now in our IMperfect world.
The images are tortorous on our t.v. screens,
babies look like skeletons,,no hope for skin and bone
No mothers´milk, her breasts are empty
empty as her stomach, she cries not for herself
she cannot feed her baby in our IMperfect world.
United Nations wall assures us
Nation shall not pick up sword against nation
neither shall they learn war anymore.
WHEN?
In a perfect world.
In a perfect world the pistol
that now is just a sculpture
will be be a knotted barrel.
No bullets can pass through any of these guns
In a perfect world.
In a perfect world the mother´s milk would flow
Babies would be fed. No high priced food
that some can´t buy,
No governments with promises
that turn into a lie.
In a perfect world.
In a perfect world the cruelty to animals we see
will not exist, just will not be
for gentle people will abound
and care for every living thing.
That´what a perfect world would bring.
Oh! In a perfect world...........

Hi Dim, If only we could have a perfect world.
Beautiful and voted that way, I loved it.
What a wonderful place it would be if we had a perfect world.
Beautiful poem Dim :)
Perfect and so beautiful!
Very well written...thought provoking and beautiful pictures, I rated this up.
Sending a big hug and smile to you..glad you are back and hope you are feeling better..
Thank you for the hub. It was nice to stumble upon you.
Beautifully done Dim. God's greatest law is the GOLDEN RULE. The LAW of JESUS ABOVE ALL Laws is THAT Golden Rule. The greatest law of Jesus is NOT that Jesus rose from the dead.
The greatest law of the living benevolent God and of Jesus and EVERY religion on planet Earth is that we love our fellow man and woman as ourselves.
And- Jesus said to pray like this- "Our God that is in heaven - hallowed be Your name, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH - YOUR KINGDOM COME ON THIS EARTH - as it is in Your heaven..."
No matter how many wars and rumors of war we have- we are to MAKE THIS EARTH resemble what heaven is.
No matter is 144,000 virgins ascend into heaven - it does not matter - our DUTY is to make Earth resemble the home of the benevolent God - AND - we will NOT see this while voting for lawyers who will NEVER clean up their own nest of corruption.
God bless you dear Dim. WE are our neighbor's keepers. It's the law above ALL laws. For a politician to claim anything else first and foremost -is a lie. God bless you!
WE ARE TO MAKE THIS A PERFECT PLACE.
Micky's comment is awesome and echoes what I wanted to say. There is nothing preventing us from doing what we can to help make it better for those less fortunate than us. The perfect world dies only if we stop wanting it, or stop dreaming of it. Have a sweet day, Dim. :)
Hey Dim Flaxenwick, very nicely written and in a perfect world, love would reign and bring peace to all. That cannot be denied, however, it seems like there are plenty of people who are simply too selfish and refuse to change things for the better. Poverty and Homelessness is two of the biggest problems facing the world, and the hub I wrote "Why World Peace Is Not Happening" goes into details about why Peace isn't going to come. To be honest, like I love to do, Love is the key element missing in the world and it's really unfortunate that many people really lack the knowledge and wisdom to bring it to the fore-front. Great Hub! :)
Hi, always a pleasure to read your talented prose. The photograph you have chosen compliments your poem so beautifully. Best wishes to you.
Oh that we could have this perfect world like you so beautifully portrayed in words and photos! Thanks! Voted up and useful.
Well stated! We are responsible for ourselves and can hopefully set good examples by how we lead our lives for others to emulate. Hopefully we are not the bad example that people wish to avoid. Ha!
Just like heaven..
You know I love this, Dim. Your words are loveful.

In a perfect world we would have a perfect hub where Love and Peace would Reign as King.I see it.I read it.I believe it.Now all we have to do is drop it off at every home in America maybe they will get the hint.Love as always will continue with all those who make it possibble every day.Thanx for sharing.
.....well you certainly rule our hubpages as queen with your latest and greatest masterpiece - this is a powerful and moving poetic manifesto and one in which every virtual classroom in the cyber universe should have - but in the meantime let me post it on my FACEBOOK page with a direct link back here.
lake erie time 9:49pm and I always love your visits to my humble little hubspace - tremendously.
Dim so often I have stirred you with my Poetry and tears were shed by you. My dear, you have now brought tears a flowing down this Saddle's face. Your masterpiece here will be shared by me with many followers, I will Face Book, Twitter, Stumble, Blog, Digg and Redditt this work.
I am moved beyond words, you have outdone yourself here, God was surely guiding your hand as you penned these words of wisdom. I ditto everything Micky Dee wrote. When the world finally wakes up by a miracle from our creator and shows LOVE true LOVE then Peace will come and neighbors will lay down arms and the weapons cast forever into the sea.
Countries will be fed and nourished and no CHILD will ever go hungry again and mother's mild will flow like water from a well. Thank you for publishing this beauty, I am blessed to have read it. My heart feels so much better now that the tears have subsided. Hugs to you from me.
Oh, Micky Dee-- amen; as my son told somebody when they asked who he was going to vote for (remember when?), he said, "Not voting 'cause only one I want to vote for isn't on the ballot" and on being asked who, he said, "God, man,
'cause ain't no politicians out there can make this a perfect world." Dim, I fell for this entire poem; that's what this world is supposed to be--perfect -- to bad we've made such a mess of things from the very beginning -- and haven't learned a thing!
Dim, oh how I wish your perfect world were real..wouldn't that be wonderful? The hurt, pain, suffering, worry, dismay, heartbreak all gone away...oh, how I wish for this day. I love this bitter sweet lament...dream of the way it should be. So beautifully said, Dim Flaxenwick. I am with you 100%. Bless you.
UP Beautiful Awesome...
Dim, that verse is real to me--some times all that keeps me going w/faith in the future!
"The lion shall lay down with the lamb and a little child shall lead them..."
I can hardly wait! I believe we WILL have a perfect world after all the tragidy plays itself out.
So... I hope to meet you there! I would love to walk with you to the sand and sea!
P.S. WONDERFUL photos!!
RunAbstract, there will always be people who believe in different paths for the earth's future, but along w/the quote from Dim and yours from Isaiah, there's also one in 1 Peter that says the earth will be here forever; so like you, I'd love to explore this earth in the state it was meant to be lived in, and I can never think of a better place than the sand and the sea! In the meantime- oh well, have a great weekend everybody!
